Staci Garber's spiritually rich upbringing and her commitment to living life fully in the recognition that each day is the day the Lord has made is contagious and inspiring. Staci’s mission is to “Sing unto the Lord a new song” Psalm 96:1. To sing his praises and to touch the lives of others by sharing the joy and story of love He has put in her heart.
Music has always been important in Staci’s life, but it wasn’t until her grandmother and mother’s death five years ago that she began to sing professionally. In her moments of grieving and looking for that joy that can come from only knowing the Lord our God, Jesus as our Savior, she came to realize that the songs and singing that she had such a passion for was the gift God has given to her to bring her joy no matter what might be going on in her life— in all circumstances praising and worshiping the Lord brings hope and joy.
Upon her mother’s and grandmother’s death Staci realized her passion for music was a calling and the way God had equipped her to serve and minister. Growing up music was an ingrained part of her family traditions. Her father played flute and piano and was in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Her grandmother was a singer and on any given day you could her humming a song while she worked, something you can also find Staci doing her whole life. Her grandmother’s sister played the organ at her church and taught piano lessons till she passed at age 100 recently. Some of her fondest memories are those moments when one or more in her family would gather around the piano to play or sing. Christmas Eve services are another one of her favorite memories as the family would all sit and sing hymns in church together.
Since that time, Staci has dived wholeheartedly into taking her music with the passion that matches her love and joy that music gives her. Staci is excited about has just completed her first EP album “Whisper to My Heart”. She has recently returned from a missions trip to South Africa as part of the “Voices of Praise” participating in Multi-Media’s ministry’s and Henry Blackaby’s “Experiencing God” crusade and revival conference. She is also a worship and praise leader on an evangelistic outreach at Pier 60 in Clearwater and can be found there most Sunday evenings at the Sunset Service.
